Inertial Tracking Engineer
Orlando, FL
Contract Position
$65.87/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Develop complex models, simulations, and performance evaluations for systems in diverse scenarios.
- Verify system and subsystem requirements at multiple levels.
- Prepare and present technical materials for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve algorithm development milestones.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years in algorithm development and analysis for inertial tracking and navigation.
- Clearance: Interim Secret Required
- Programming: Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and/or Python.
- Desired Skills:
- Experience with linear algebra software packages.
- Proficiency in developing C++ code within a Linux environment.
- Deployment of algorithms meeting real-time performance in embedded systems.
- Exposure to AI/ML techniques for algorithm development.
- Familiarity with electro-optical/infrared (EOIR) systems, radiometry, and optics.
- Expertise in navigation algorithms, Kalman filtering, optimal state estimation, and advanced mathematics.
- Experience with modeling and simulation of EOIR systems, and knowledge of clutter rejection techniques.
