Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including a Mid or Lead-Level System Engineer to support Government Training Engineering (GTE) and the SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration & Test) team. This role will primarily support verification activities and assist in or coordinate with integration activities for the F-15 International Trainers in Hazelwood, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
- Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
- Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
- Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
- May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- 5&43; years’ experience with all aspects of the SEIT product development lifecycle.
- 3&43; years’ experience with engineering development processes and leading teams.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 15-25 of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 9&43; years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education.
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting aircrew training systems utilizing COTS computational systems with Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Experience in reviewing and understanding requirements and translating them in authored verification acceptance test procedures.
- Experience developing scripts to automate processes and developing network architectures.
- Experience on a fighter trainer platform.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe/EVM.
Typical Education & Experience:
Mid-Level (3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master&43;3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Lead-Level (4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD&43;4 years related work experience, Master&43;7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-level Summary pay range: $97,750 - $132,250
Lead-level Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
