Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead aerodynamic design, testing and analysis of fan and compressor configurations.
  • Drive multidisciplinary integration with system level understanding.
  • Provide technical guidance and training/mentoring  of junior engineers.
  • Manage resources and prioritize activities to deliver program objectives.
  • Influence and help define strategies for research and development for next-gen engines.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with significant industrial experience in in the field of fan and compressor aerodynamics.
  • Strong understanding of fan and compressor aerodynamics and design.
  • Experience in computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamic design, and a track record in delivering innovative solutions on complex programs.
  • Fluent in English.

Desired Characteristics

  • PhD in aerodynamics.
  • Passion for technical excellence and self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in German.
