Interface betweensite and customer for daily routine issues  such as rejections / escapes, corrective action requests, Notice ofEscapes and preventive activities such as formal quality improvement plans asrequired by the customer.  Maintain siteleadership visibility of customer quality scores for OEM customers.  Actively work with customer, AerospaceQuality, and site to improve these metrics.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Manage and reduce customer escapes (specifically to OEM customers)
  • External and Network audit findings
  • CAR metrics
  • Open and Aging CSBs
  • CRB Inventory
  • Open/Aging Q1 QNs

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and lead customer quality meetings or events
  • Support meetings on behalf of site with HON Aero CQEs for any customer related topics
  • Enter Q1 Quality Notifications and CARs for customer escapes.
  • Maintain and monitor these CARs to ensure no red metrics as a result of past due customer CARs; daily task to review all open Q1 QNs
  • Initiate CSB for customer escapes, facilitate and drive through root cause. Execute customer NOEs pre required customer process.
  • Facilitate and organize site support for customer audits
  • Initiate reversal requests for any no fault found or customer caused escapes
  • Initiate and facilitate customer quality improvement plans at site.
  • Work with cross functional team to create plan and drive completion of actions.
  • Support any shop overload or outsourcing initiatives (customer requirements)
  • Prepare customer slides for yearly Management Review
  • Facilitate customer MRB approvals
  • Work directly with DSQRs and Floor QA to improve inspection plans and processes for OEM customers
  • Manage customer returns with cross functional team to process parts
  • Perform internal audits in accordance with audit schedule
  • Create / maintain standard work to support OEM customers

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE
  • 5 years experience in Quality or related field
  • US Citizen
  • Bachelors degree preferred
