This specific role will be focused on development of computer vision, artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomy technologies for autonomous aerial vehicle platforms. Your contributions will play a central role in the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions, contributing to Honeywells commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology.
You will report directly to our manager of autonomy, computer vision and AI research group and youll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting research, development and demonstration of AI, computer vision and autonomy technologies
- You will be responsible for developing new concepts and technologies, and showing that they work
- Help drive growth as a technology expert through interfaces with internal and external customers and partners
- Lead and drive technology development programs
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities that require quick adaptation
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Masters Degree or PhD from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as robotics, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years relevant experience in applying AI and computer vision technologies to aerospace applications
