Your Role:

As a DevSecOps Engineer, youll be instrumental in:

  • Enhancing Security Practices: Integrate and optimize security tools like Coverity, SonarQube, and NetSparker within our CI/CD pipelines.

  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Implement and manage processes for continuous integration and deployment, leveraging the latest in container and cloud security solutions.

  • Hands-On Support: Provide critical DevSecOps support including infrastructure management, CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud administration.

  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with developers and product owners to improve code quality, increase test coverage, and tackle vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security practices integrating SAST, DAST, and container security tools.

  • Implement efficient CI/CD processes and provide immediate quality feedback.

  • Manage and enhance DevSecOps tools and support lifecycle maintenance.

  • Develop solutions for container security and software composition analysis within CI/CD pipelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)

  • 5+ years in software development and 2+ years in Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Experience with CI/CD techniques and design patterns

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in setting up and managing toolchains (GitLab, Bazel, SonarQube, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes, secure software development, and Agile methodologies

  • Experience with microservices, hybrid environments, and scripting (bash, Python, Java, C)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (Secret level) for which US Citizenship is required.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Integrate and enhance security testing tools within CI/CD pipelines.

  • Develop and manage event-driven security scanning solutions.

  • Provide hands-on support for infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline, and cloud administration.

  • Collaborate on increasing code quality and resolving vulnerabilities.

Pay Details: $59.00 to $70.00 per hour
