Senior Industrial Engineering Technician (Full Time)

Position Summary
Supports the design and implementation of projects to reduce waste and improve efficiency, safety, and quality. Collaborating closely with Industrial Engineers and production teams, contributes to various engineering projects aimed at streamlining operations. Additionally, troubleshoots issues related to manufacturing operations and industrial layouts, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
Senior: Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

Assist in the design and lead the implementation of improved manufacturing methods and processes.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, aligned with industry-leading manufacturing practices and company objectives.
Collaborate with Industrial Engineers to analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
Conduct time studies and work measurements to establish standard operating procedures and set benchmarks for production tasks.
Assist in the development and maintenance of work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to production processes.
Contribute to cost-saving efforts by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, optimize resource utilization, and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Perform other related duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. May lead continuous improvement projects and be required to train and assist other employees, along with providing cross-functional project management support.

Education
A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. An Associate’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
Experience
2+ years of manufacturing or trade experience. A basic understanding of industrial equipment, machinery operations, and office literacy is required to perform the duties of this position. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with internal teams, industry partners, and customers.
