We are seeking a Health,Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional to join the Honeywell IndustrialAutomation (IA) team. This individual will be a member of the HSELeadership Team, responsible for driving HSE continuous improvement, compliance,and engagement within the Smart Energy Thermal Solutions (SETS). The rolereports to the Sr. Director HSE.
As a Principal HSE Manager, the successful candidate must be results drivenand able to develop strong relationships with the business leaders. The candidate must be compliance focused andprovide hands-on support to projects with the ability to deploy continuousimprovement through a strong MOS; to drive goals, objectives, improve cultureand behaviors.
We are looking for a strong people and process leader, capable of coaching/mentoringHSE professionals across a Strategic Business Group (SBG). The individual must be a well-rounded leaderthat can manage health, safety, and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a compliance strategy; both Honeywell HSE Management System, and regulatory requirements.
- Heavy focus risk reduction through culture and behaviors initiatives.
- Ability to execution of the HSE vision and mission through deployment of the HSE Management System.
- Partner with the SBG leadership to achieve the goals and objectives.
- Ability to reduce the risk profile of manufacturing facilities by identifying gaps through self-assessments, audits, gembas, and agency or 3rd party inspections.
- Strong ability to use HOS/Lean Practices and Principles to develop, deploy and continuously improve HSE results and improve efficiencies.
- Support business with adequate reviews/visits/inspections to drive continuous improvement in HSE.
- Work in concert with Corporate HSEPS to assure consistent and effective auditing of regulatory requirements and Honeywell Level 1 and Level 2 Standards.

YOU MUST HAVE:- 5+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment Leadership experience.
WE VALUE- Bachelors degree in environmental, safety, engineering, or related technical field.
- Preferred, broad knowledge of Honeywell policies, procedures, and processes.
- Knowledge and management experience with global aspects of HSE and Sustainability
- Firm understanding of OSHA and EPA standard as well as OSHSs Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)
- Ability to communicate and influence decision making to all levels of the organization
- Strong collaboration, program management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously to achieve organizational objectives
- Mature judgment and decision-making ability with strategic and tactical HSE experience
