Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or four years, combination of education, experience, and training, in addition to what is listed below. Some engineering team leadership or subcontractor project management desired.
Minimum Experience
Eight years of aircrew training system or flight simulation device experience (support, modification and updates) with military/Department of Defense engineering standards including specification and configuration management practices or equivalent education. Experience in related Systems Engineering projects would be an acceptable substitute, but must include DOD work in life-cycle engineering activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test and delivery of hardware and software systems. This can include work as an engineering subcontract manager as well. Experience should also include working with customers to gain system acceptance, based on requirements.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or with others without constant direct supervision.
- Ability to tactfully manage and direct subcontractor personnel.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and to assume responsibility for accuracy and completeness of work.
- Ability to accept direction from other managers on various projects.
- Ability to accurately use a computer and software.
- Solid knowledge of ATS design and logistics engineering concepts.
- Possess, or have the ability to obtain, a SECRET security clearance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to sit, use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The teammate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The teammate must have close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
