Core Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and develop new repairs on aero-engine components.
  • Prepare and maintain work instructions for aero-engine component repairs.
  • Perform tooling design.
  • Ensure compliance to OEM technical data and regulatory requirements.
  • New machine and process qualifications
  • Process improvements to improve process robustness, process efficiency and repair yield
  • First Article inspection Reports
  • Take the lead and provide guidance to the production team in Repair development.
  • Actively participate and support continuous improvement / Kaizen projects
  • Multi-task other engineering-related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with the companys health and safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul environment.
  • Knowledge of repair processes such as Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot peening, Machining, etc. will be a plus.
  • Highly motivated professional who is able to work within a cross-functional team.

Education Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
