Innovate to solve the worlds most important challengesAs a Quality Engineer 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes in support of in line production assembly. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality standards of our manufacturing operations. 

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and youll work out of our Freeport, IL location on an onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the overall quality and customer satisfaction of our products. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting quality control processes, conducting inspections and tests, analyzing data, performing internal and customer audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •   Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
    •   Perform CAPA related actions to include inspections and tests to identify and resolve quality issues
    •   Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
    •   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
    •   Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are met

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,100 - $93,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a generalguideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well asmarket and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

    •   Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field
    •   Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or related role
    •   Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies
    •   Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation


WE VALUE

    •   Six Sigma certification or equivalent
    •   Experience in the manufacturing industry
    •   Knowledge of AS 9100 or other quality management systems 
    •   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
