We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to join our team at our Columbus Ohio IM&T site. As a Quality Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in finding innovative and cost-effective means to improve quality output and drive continuous improvements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations, and engineering specifications. Additionally, you will be accountable for instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance, and product quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement quality standards
  • Assist in managing certifications for products
  • Support Manufacturing quality needs
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and implement quality control systems
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance
  • Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements
  • Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations
  • Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues
  • Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements

YOU MUST HAVE:

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.

  • Experience using QA software tools and processes
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering or similar discipline
  • Regulatory understanding
  • Ability to provide clear and concise communications
  • Greenbelt Certified
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of six sigma tools
  • Ability to partner with others on projects
  • Understanding of quality processes
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • Auditing experience
  • Quality Management System experience
