Job Description:
ORGANIZATION
Reports hierarchically to the Head of Quality & HSE.
GOAL OF THE POSITION
Managing and monitoring of the quality processes during production.
Managing of the quality reviews during production and all suppliers’ issues /non-conformities. Monitoring materials for any defects and resolving quality issues.
Managing relationships with suppliers with a focus on improvement of product quality.
MAIN OUTLINES OF THE POSITION
Monitors and controls the correct execution of processes and procedures during production of the product, reports on the results and signals deviations (Non-Conformance Reports).
Initiates, organizes and supervises the process of handling deviations. Proposes solutions against the applicable quality requirements and coordinates these with the parties involved (designers, production, client(s), suppliers).
Checks, both during regular production and integration process and during repairs, if the processes followed are according to specification and can, if circumstances so require, decide to suspend work.
Checks and approves production related drawings and documents (covering for example Ground Support Equipment and tooling) towards the quality process requirements, signals deviations.
Monitors and controls the resolution of the inconsistencies or deviations.
Assists Product Assurance by performing delegated PA tasks like:
Performing supplier delivery reviews (DRB)
Executing Manufacturing and Test Reviews (MRR, TRR, PTR)
Preparation of the End Item Data Package (EIDP)
Organize and chair the NRB (Non-Conformance Review Board)
Update of configuration documentation like CIDL, ABCL etc.
Prepares reports based on quality metrics and tools available to the QA function, and present those reports to Product Assurance or the Head of Quality
Performs inspections on supplier delivered parts or in house produced assemblies. Checks the accompanying documentation and registers the quality reports in the documentation or ERP system.
Performs a final inspection on finished goods at Airbus NL, at customer and at supplier level according to project specific standards.
Assists the safety officer with monitoring and follow up on safety related incidents or improvements.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION
Internal:
With colleagues within quality department to coordinate work and identify and handle deviations.
With the production teams to detect non-conformities, with the power to stop the production flow to and investigate and solve the problems.
External:
