What are our expectations?
Pratt & Whitney Canada is looking for a Production Planner for their facilities in Mississauga. As a Production Planner you will support the engines production by defining and improving the sequences established for assembly and testing. You must know the manufacturing execution system.
Additionally, you must be able to perform varied and complex tasks under minimal supervision, apply advanced skills to perform functions of the position, rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals, and interpret complex drawings, documents, and engineering specifications.

What your day to day will look like?
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of production AFSs.
Define the process, tooling, and equipment required to assemble modules and engines in accordance with P&WC Engineering and Quality standards.
Participate in IPT’s for production readiness and change incorporation.
Incorporate red flags and engineering changes.
Create TATPs, REIs, and BSRs
Support production in the improvement of assembly processes and production readiness.
Support A&T RFA/DR Quality Clinic and CORE metrics.
Assist in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of other employees.
The tools you need to be successful
College degree with 5 to 10 years’ experience
Experience in the aeronautical field (mandatory);
Knowledge of manufacturing execution system (eCates ideally);
Knowledge of CATIA V5;
Understanding of continuous improvement principles (an asset);
Bilingualism;
Experience with unionized environment.
