Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is currently looking for proactive and self-motivated Product Security Engineer. Working within the Joint Systems Capability, you will be part of the team that enhance and sustain operational software on the Wakulda Air Battle Management System.
About You:
- Self-starter, ability to contribute to projects including software implementations and product reviews
- Ability to apply engineering problem solving skills
- Enjoy being surrounded by a motivated and high performing team
- Strong attention to detail when following engineering processes and always striving for first time quality
- Ability to follow an engineering lifecycle
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Product Security or Cybersecurity supporting complex technical development and integration projects.
- Proficiency in Engineering Processing (e.g., design, test, software, technology) as related to Product Security. Including working as part of a team contributing to security planning and implementation.
- Proficiency in design and implementation of System Security packages of work including as related to system security domains (e.g., information assurance, intrusion detection, software protection, software assurance, communications security, network security, reverse engineering, SIEM experience)
- The ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive way and a proactive approach to problem solving is valued by our team.
- (Desirable) Linux and Windows System administration skills, particularly working with software development and configuration management tools; virtualization; and networking.
- Familiarity in Devops environments and automated build software tools
- Familiarity of software infrastructure tools and industry best practices
