Skills You Bring To this Role:
· At least 9 years’ experience minimum in a materials and process role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
· Experience and knowledge related to non-metallic materials and processing of polymer matrix composites and structural bonding utilizing epoxy resin-based materials with carbon and glass fiber reinforcements is required.
· Experience with BMI resin-based products is preferred, but not necessary.
· Experience with material qualification programs and statistical data reduction of test results is preferred.
What you need to be successful:
· We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.
· Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or other materials focused engineering degree. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
· Ability to prioritize work, attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
· Excellent communicator, must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and brief leaders/customers.
· Ability to coach, mentor and develop early career engineers
