Duration:  12 mos


Seeking for a Power supply design engineer for a new design of tactical power supply for a Radar sensor application.
Candidate must develop advanced circuit card solutions for power regulation and distribution.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently in a past-pace design environment.

Specific required experience is with complex analog and power circuit card design including power conversation, isolation, grounding, and power distribution for sensor system.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience with complex analog and power circuit card design
• Experience with Power circuit analysis
• Experience with input power filter design and E3 (EMI, EMC, etc.) on advance electronic for circuit card .
• Design power filter and isolation for MIL-STD-461 for electronics for conducted emission and conduct susceptibility
• Experience with electronic system power consumption and dissipation analysis
• Experience with system grounding and ability to create system level grounding diagram with power isolation
• Experience of CCA integration with testing tools including power supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Data Acquisition devices
• Ability to perform design trade studies; evaluating cost, weight, packaging, power benefits
• Familiarity or experience with parts and materials selections for CCA designs
• Experience capturing flowed and derived requirements for CCA designs
• Experience deriving test requirements for CCA designs including local and system power verification
• Experience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis
• Experience with Mentor Graphics / Siemens Xpedition or equivalent for schematic capture and layout
• Experience with Mentor Graphics Siemens power integrity analysis
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team of design engineers and internal stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with little oversight in a fast paced, dynamic and agile environment to meet an aggressive schedule
• Self-starter who can fully engage with other personnel on the program and operate with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to obtain secret level clearance at a timely manner (prefer candidate with existing active clearance or held clearance prior)

Desired Skills:
• Experience with MIL-STD-461 testing for electronics in conducted emission and conduct susceptibility
• Experience or familiarity with servo motor control circuit design and analysis
