We are looking for a MBSE Engineer, to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.
Responsibilities:
Modelling satellite communication system (SATCOM) End-to-end solution:
Analysis and capture of technical data for different architecture viewpoints
Working with Engineering and Technical Authority to define the End-to-end solution and associated sub-system architectures via integrated Working Groups
Providing technical proposal inputs
Modelling solution architecture using MBSE standard methods
Providing Systems Engineering and project management inputs as required - to support planning, schedule and cost activities
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related discipline
Experience in the design, integration and roll out of end-to-end digital telecommunications systems (satellite communication system desirable) covering space, control and ground segments using Waterfall or Agile methodologies
Have direct experience of defining solutions within an Architectural Framework using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and appropriate
Have direct experience in applying MBSE in support of system development.
Master ADS UBM (System of System) or MOFLT (System) approaches and have knowledge in different MBSE standard methods.
Have knowledge of MagicDraw-Cameo Systems Modeler tool.
Have knowledge on MBSE concepts like meta-models, ontologies, Architecture frameworks (NAF, UAF) and SysML.

Have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong critical thinking skills
Technical speak-up mindset to contribute to improve methods & tools factory
Act as a problem-solver with the model as an enabler
Proactive attitude to anticipate risks and raise concerns in advance
Willingness to travel occasionally
Fluency in English is mandatory
