StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student looking to join our Engineering Team in Winnipeg MB CA for the 2025 summer term. 

As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.

Job Duties:

StandardAero is seeking Engineering students for summer term positions (4 or 8 months) to support StandardAero’s production and growth projects.   This work may include activities as listed below:

•    Develop repairs for engine components.
•    Reprocess cost evaluation and recommendations for reduction
•    Develop repair on non-conforming parts

  • Perform technical manual reviews
  • Review tooling requirements and implement into shop
  • Write technical reports and procedures.
  • Coordinate process improvement initiatives.
  • Create electronic manual revisions.
  • Perform engine performance analysis.
  • Find alternative cleaning, plating, thermal spraying and coatings methods
  • Assist in engine and accessories troubleshooting
  • Other projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good understanding of basis mechanical engineering principles
  • Working knowledge computers and MS Office experience/knowledge.
  • Must have completed 1st Year of Engineering studies.  Open to 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students.
  • Can be a 4 or 8 month term.   TBD upon discussion with applicable candidates.
