Engineer Support Specialist II
Job Description:

In this role, you will impact the overall success of our engineering operations by providing exceptional technical support, leading to improved project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and resolve issues.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve support efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist Product/Design Engineers and other Electronics Technicians in troubleshooting faulty avionics hardware
  • Participate in developing verification test procedures and perform testing of avionics products using common electronic laboratory equipment
  • Execute Environmental and EMI Qualification testing
  • Perform testing of Epic displays/modules for Root-Cause determination
  • End-Item acceptance testing using Vector and CATE test stations
  • Fabricate breadboard and prototype electronic devices, including loading configuration data into programmable logic devices
  • Interface with Equipment Maintenance personnel to ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering or technical support.
  • Proven track record of providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with engineering tools and methodologies.

  • Advanced Engineering degrees such as ME (Mechanical Engineering) or EE (Electrical Engineering).
  • Experience in leading engineering projects and teams.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.

  • IPC Solder Certification, or equivalent
