Job Summary:
The Test Equipment Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools.
The Multi-Discipline Engineering Team located at the Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) on White Sands Missile Range, NM is searching for a professional hire that will make significant technical and logistical contributions in the development of test systems products for U.S. and international customers.
Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, to develop a test system for Raytheon products. The candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development and will be responsible for helping to maintain the technical, cost and schedule aspects of their assigned projects. They will be expected to act, either as a part of their team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.

This position will be onsite in White Sands, NM.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment in multidiscipline engineering teams
- Develop engineering test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
- Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development including gate reviews, and achieve technical, cost and schedule goals of assigned projects
- Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products
- Coordinate assembly, integration, test of project deliverables and resolve manufacturing problems
- Travel in support of product integration customer sites
- Support system integration & test events WSMR, NM
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and two (2) years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in electrical engineering digital and analog design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test
- Experience with commonly used digital and analog electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium, OrCAD, Xpedition or similar tools
- Experience with commonly used test equipment including but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
- Self-starter and able to manage workload to meet assigned deadlines
- Experience working in a team environment
- Ability to lead single- or multi-discipline teams of engineers
- Willingness to travel to various locations to support program requirements

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
