You will join the Navigation systems design office team that is responsible for the design, development, integration and certification of communication and navigation systems on all Airbus Helicopters platforms. It includes flight management systems, inertial and air data systems, and localization systems, in particular satellite-based navigation systems (e.g. GNSS)

Your challenges:
As a System Design Responsible you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that cover the full product lifecycle including specification, development, modification, in-service support and research.
These tasks can include:
- Specifying new functions or equipment for future developments
- Specifying and managing projects, development activities, Verification & Validation activities (including laboratory, ground & flight test).
- Supporting design process improvements
- Supporting all related safety & certification activities
- Managing the associated suppliers
- Contributing to in-service support
- Involvement in research activities
You will therefore have a large and rewarding number of interfaces including major multi-national suppliers, other system teams, bench and flight test teams, civil and military helicopters programs, safety, certification, airworthiness, customer support, etc. This requires your ability to work and prioritize flexibly as part of large transnational teams. Your technical rigor, ability to communicate and your good project management capabilities will be a key asset.
