WFS is seeking a Ground Operations Business Inelligence Engineering to serve as the primary technical owner of Ground Handling analytics and reporting across North America.
This individual contributor role designs, builds, and maintains scalable analytics solutions supporting Ground Operations performance, KPI tracking, and operational decision-making, combining business intelligence, data engineering fundamentals, and hands-on analytics engineering.
The Business Intelligence Engineer will:
- Own and enhance the Ground Power BI reporting ecosystem
- Independently design and build small-to-medium data pipelines using Python and Microsoft Fabric
- Perform end-to-end root cause analysis across systems, databases, APIs, Fabric pipelines, and reporting layers
- Partner with Operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Act as a technical bridge between Ground Operations and the Data & Analytics team
This role requires strong independent problem-solving ability, technical depth, and the ability to communicate complex data issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
After stabilizing and optimizing the reporting landscape, this individual will contribute to automation initiatives and explore innovative uses of AI to improve analytics workflows and operational insights.
This is a hybrid position requiring regular in-office attendance at one of the following major metropolitan airport locations:
Dallas, TX (DFW)
Houston, TX (IAH)
Newark, NJ (EWR)
Seattle, WA (SEA)
Denver, CO (DEN)
Candidates must be able to commute to one of these locations as part of the role’s hybrid work arrangement.
