B2 Line Engineer - SR
Location: Oxfordshire with travel (Shift-based role including days & nights)
Salary: Potential Earnings up to 94,121 (based on 90 days away)

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced B2 licensed technicians to join AirTanker as a B2 Line Engineer (SR). In this shift-based role, you will perform essential Aircraft Maintenance tasks in accordance with company quality and regulatory airworthiness standards. You will work closely with the Shift Manager to ensure operational services meet all customer contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled Aircraft Maintenance activities.
- Certify servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of approval.
- Supervise technical staff, ensuring safe and correct performance of duties.
- Manage aircraft documentation and ensure all certification entries are promptly recorded.
- Be available for AOG recovery operations at short notice.
- Liaise with Maintrol on technical issues and scheduled inputs.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
- Foster a culture of open reporting and just culture among staff.
- Exhibit leadership and motivation to build a strong corporate safety culture.
Specialist Role (SR) Specifics:
- Being an SR involves deployment in support of Voyager. When not on military tasks, you will return to your civilian role with AirTanker. Note that being an SR is distinct from being in the RAF Reserves.
Eligibility for SR Status:
- British, Irish, Commonwealth citizenship or dual British citizenship.
- Medically and dentally fit.
- Maintain required fitness levels.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Shift pay: 7,500
- Call out Gratuity: 663.12 (paid quarterly)
- SR Bounty: 3,313.44 (paid at attestation and every 6 months)
- Duty Pay: 3.30 per hour

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Demonstrable experience on commercial or military aircraft.
- B2 UK CAA Licence.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Pass a CP2 Colour Vision Test.
- One or more Type Ratings (preferably AirBus) on EASA Licence, or Military Equivalent.
- Experience in a Line Maintenance environment.
