Job Description:
Position Summary: STS Aviation Services is hiring B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers in Castle Donington, East Midlands, United Kingdom. This contract position runs until the end of November, offering an exciting opportunity to join our growing line station operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for Line Maintenance activities, ensuring all Part 145 maintenance requirements are met in accordance with our processes and procedures. Duties & Responsibilities:

Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within company approvals
Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements are accomplished
Order spares using customer and company processes, complete paperwork for unserviceable components, and record maintenance activities accurately
Support adhoc AOG requirements
Perform required aircraft maintenance efficiently and promptly
Rectify defects on inbound aircraft
Meet and greet inbound aircraft and debrief the crew
Conduct engineering dispatch of all aircraft as required
Carry out maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
Complete all required documentation
Comply with company procedures, policies, regulations, and MOE
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations

Skills & Experience:

Part 66 Licence B1
Type rated on 737 NG
Preferred previous Line Maintenance experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Good communication skills
Full UK Driving licence essential
Knowledge of MS Office applications
