Boeing Artificial Intelligence (Boeing AI) is currently looking for an Associate Software Engineer, Artificial Intelligence to join their team in Huntsville, Alabama.
A successful candidate will be a motivated early career person who will join our Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) group. They will have programming experience, data understanding, machine learning (ML), NLP and generative AI knowledge. They will develop and innovate Generative AI and NLP aerospace applications for Boeing under Technical Fellow guidance. They will be comfortable in taking initiative, learning by experience, possess an interest in personal learning, seek feedback from others, and create innovative ideas. They will get great satisfaction in applying engineering solutions that will work in the real world.

Position Responsibilities:
End-to-End Model Development:
Design, develop, and iterate on scalable AI/ML solutions, including a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), information retrieval systems, and advanced ML paradigms.
Apply proficiency in Python to deliver clean, efficient, and production-ready code.
Machine Learning Operations (MLOps):
Drive the MLOps lifecycle by establishing and maintaining robust pipelines.
Experience with containerization, model deployment, data management, and monitoring.
Software Integration:
Communication:
Act as a project contributor, successfully implement business requirements into code under senior guidance.
Clearly communicate concepts, progress, and insights to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
1+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) software development
3+ years of experience programming using python
1+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming
Experience with performing analysis utilizing various structured and unstructured data sources using tools like python and/or R Studio
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent exp
Experience with search & chat applications.
Experience and strong interest analyzing, labeling, and processing unstructured text data.

Summary pay range for Associate Level (Level 2): $110,500 - $149,500
