Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Associate, Mid-Level or Senior Systems Engineers to join our 777X Integrated Verification Team at our Everett, WA site.

The 777X is a family of airplanes in development to improve the performance of the original 777 family of airplanes. We are currently flight testing the 777-9, the longest, largest commercial airplane on the market. We are also in the early development stages for the 777-8F, the largest freighter airplane on the market. This role will be responsible to coordinate the design teams in support of test readiness and configuration planning through the certification of the 777-9 and the development of the 777-8F.  The position will require strong collaboration skills to integrate across a broad range of engineering functions applying Systems Engineering principles.

This is a full-time assignment with potential opportunities to take on special assignments. The ideal candidate will also have both the background knowledge and the desire to dynamically shift priorities to take on additional cross-functional responsibilities.

A Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level 2), Mid-Level (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
  • Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  • Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master&43;3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD&43;4, Master&43;7 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Associate: $87,550 - $118,450

Summary pay range Mid-Level: $104,550 - $141,450

Summary pay range Senior: $128,350 - $173,650
