Summary:
Under moderate supervision, assist in the removal and installation of avionics electrical components
Support fabrication of wire harnesses, electrical installations, terminations, ring-out procedures, and functional testing of avionics and electrical systems
Assist in installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and related equipment following blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings
Support completion of assigned tasks within established timeframes
Maintain required logs and records
Follow company safety programs, including FOD control, tool control, 5S standards, and safety regulations
Maintain and care for assigned shop equipment and tools
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Entry-level position
Preferred: Six months of aviation electronics schooling or general electrical experience
General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications
Ability to use a multimeter
Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred
Completion of relevant apprenticeship program preferred
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer and software proficiency
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
