Job Summary

Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical systems, perform testing and certifications and work closely with supervisors and manufacturers to ensure compliance with F.A.R.s and repair station manuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical systems
• Perform Altimeter and Transponder tests and certifications
• Work with Rockwell Collins Proline 4 and Proline 21 systems, and Honeywell NZ-2000 systems
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on installed systems
• Collaborate with manufacturers for new installations
• Work closely with supervisors on scheduling, planning, executing repairs, and required paperwork
• Ensure compliance with F.A.R.s and repair station manuals
• Work in confined areas and awkward positions, with possible travel involved

Requirements

• A&P license required
• Knowledge of Analog and digital aircraft systems
• General knowledge of airframe systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems for electrical testing
• Computer skills required
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must pass DOT-required drug and alcohol tests
• Must complete a criminal background check
