Position SummaryDavcor Aviation Services is seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support commercial aircraft maintenance operations in Everett, WA.
This role is ideal for highly skilled aviation professionals with commercial MRO experience who possess strong troubleshooting, installation, and repair capabilities involving aircraft electrical and avionics systems. Successful candidates will have experience supporting Boeing and Airbus aircraft platforms while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate can perform avionics troubleshooting, system testing, installations, modifications, and repairs with minimal supervision in a heavy maintenance or modification environment.
Pay Range$25.00 – $35.00 per hour DOE
Competitive compensation based on experience, aircraft qualifications, certifications, and avionics expertise.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting, repair, testing, modification, and installation of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
Inspect, maintain, and repair communication, navigation, flight control, lighting, and other aircraft electronic systems.
Remove, install, and operationally test avionics components and assemblies.
Diagnose electrical and avionics discrepancies using approved maintenance procedures and test equipment.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical data.
Perform continuity checks, functional tests, and system operational checks.
Support aircraft modifications, upgrades, and avionics installations.
Accurately document maintenance actions in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, engineering teams, and fellow technicians regarding maintenance activities and technical issues.
Complete assigned work in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and customer standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support overtime and schedule flexibility as required to meet production demands.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsRequired ExperiencePrevious commercial aircraft MRO experience required.
Minimum three (3) years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
Experience supporting Boeing 737, Boeing 767, Airbus, and/or Next Generation aircraft platforms.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical data.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred QualificationsFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
FCC License preferred.
Previous heavy maintenance or modification experience.
Experience with aircraft system upgrades and avionics modifications.
Multi-aircraft platform experience.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
Proficiency with avionics troubleshooting equipment and diagnostic tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation industry best practices.
Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position is performed in an active aircraft maintenance environment and may require working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Employees must be able to:
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, and climb for extended periods.
Work from ladders, maintenance stands, lifts, and elevated platforms.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work in aircraft hangars and maintenance facilities.
Utilize hand tools, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Wear required PPE and comply with FAA, OSHA, customer, and company safety requirements.
