What are your contributions to the team?
• Investigate design build issues and analyze structural engineering and instrumentation installation solutions
• Analyze temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner
• Learn about dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions. (MRB)
• Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives.
• Help design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners
• Analyze engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions.
How to thrive in this role?
• You must be able to work on ITAR programs.
• You must be working toward a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
• You must be in your Junior (3rd) year.
• You must have taken an introductory to CATIA V5 class or equivalent.
• You must have taken Structures 1.
• You must have a basic understanding of FEMs. NASTRAN/PATRAN and other software are a plus.
• You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You must be a highly motivated, self-starter.
• You must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. All other computer systems and software are a plus.
• Any aircraft or manufacturing experience is an asset.
