Position Overview:

We have an opportunity for a Global Portfolio Manager to join our team in Plymouth, MN

The global portfolio manager for programmable controllers is responsible for actively managing a global group of products global Honeywell Building Management Systems (BMS) organization. This includes managing the portfolio from post-launch to end-of-life within the multi-generation product (MGPP) roadmap. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, internal senior executives, field sales organization, key business partners and the senior management team to manage a portfolio of programmable controllers.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage global portfolio, include gap analysis to define a 1-year roadmap for the programmable controller product line, including retirement
• Pricing
• Manage quality actions
• Identify/ develop 3rd party partnerships
• Consolidate ongoing order, sales and inventory forecast
• Define SKU reduction programs
• Define SKU retirement/ end-of-life programs
• Support sustaining engineering prioritization, VE/CE with "Plan for Every Product"
• Support new product introduction launches

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree (Engineering or Business Management)
  • 1 or more years of experience managing a technical product portfolio
  • 1 or more years of product management experience
  • Strong Technical Acumen (HVAC or adjacent space)
WE VALUE
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Masters Degree is a plus
  • Building Management product or solution development experience
  • Analytical thinking (SKU management/rationalization) and decision making
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is a plus
  • Process/systems orientated
  • Work independently and make decisions within degree of authority
  • Proven track record of leading projects / product launches
  • Building automation industry and product experience
  • Services offerings experience
  • Product management & marketing skills
  • Ability to motivate and influence team members
