Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Shipside Operations Specialist Team Lead (Level 4) to support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Final Assembly Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift!
Position Responsibilities:
Provides expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues.
Uses advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
Uses tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues.
Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. May analyze and interpret data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues.
Coordinates and facilitates multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues.
Provides coaching and instruction to other teammates.
Works under minimal direction.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
5+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams
5+ years of experience with the Velocity system
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
3+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
• Proficient in eTrac, REDARS, Velocity, SAT and BAC specifications
• 5+ years’ experience leading and training teams
