Job Summary

The mission of the Senior Technology Application Analyst is the validation, support, and management of everyday financial/operational activities within the Ground Technology ecosystem. The role will focus on the configuration, setup, execution and validation of a billing rules engine; providing support for frontline users prior to and during critical billing periods.

Responsibilities
  • Daily support for configuration of contracts, billing rules, and service configuration changes.
  • Support of mid-month and month-end closing processes, validating data, and solutioning of issues for an on-time close (may require overtime).
  • Maintaining documentation of and configuration of all billable services and the process for billing within the billing system. Ensure change control and documentation for financial processes within the application and thorough System/UAT testing for financial scenarios prior to release.
  • Provide functional/technical support and problem resolution related to business application software systems.
  • Organize regular meetings with end users to maintain a working awareness of their service operations.
  • Analyze financial/business requirements and prioritize application change requests.
  • Act as liaison/SME between Finance, Operations and Technology regarding the billing process within the application, understanding and documenting the process from end to end.
  • Perform station visits as needed for implementation, training, and the requirements gathering process.
  • Complete the aggregation, documentation, and validation of billing rules for all stations, airlines, and services.
  • Act as SME for the implementation of the Billing Module, hosting video conference calls, workshops, and other meetings as needed.
  • Run regular audits and QA testing to ensure the application is functioning as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Computer Science or related degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Computer Science and/or Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation industry required.
Preferred Skills
  • Aviation Billing experience preferred.
  • A solid understanding of Aviation operational /performance statistics and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices.
  • Intermediate Excel.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Project management principles and communication. Need to have a strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Fabric, including Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Six Sigma training.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Remain in a stationary position 50 of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Walk short distances.
  • Reach above and/or below the shoulder.
  • Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods.
  • Lift/carry/move objects, files, and documents up to 25 pounds.
  • Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • This position requires some travel; the Ideal candidate can travel for key meetings and at leadership requests. Travel ~10.
  • Ability to work extended hours when billing cylces close.
