Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position offers a telecommute schedule Redondo Beach, CA.

Essential Functions:

The compliance analyst role includes working directly with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) to complete Request for Information (RFI), performing a specialized set of functions focused on ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards related to defense contracting.  Coordinate and facilitate clear and effective communication with internal departments to gather required information and ensure timely responses to RFIs. Act as a primary liaison between the organization and the DCAA auditors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analysis of large volumes of data using worksheet and database skills to manipulate, summarize, and select into meaningful information for decision making

  • Detail analysis and reconciliations

  • Support DCAA Audits

  • Supporting DCAA auditors onboarding; system needs and training

  • Mentor and train employees on Northrop Grumman’s ERP Systems (S4 and reporting tools) Work with their team to ensure strong processes and controls are in place and will provide value added services to our partner departments

  • Partner across the Controller organization and Sector to ensure success of business priorities and outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or other related field, and 10 years of relevant experience; OR a Masters degree with 8 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent computer skills, experience in accounting software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

  • Ability to work on on-site in Redondo Beach, CA telecommuting 2-3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excel power user (pivot tables, vlookups, macros, advanced formula writing)

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and process improvement skills

  • Accounting experience in government contracting

  • GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) knowledge

  • Experience with S4 Accounting System (PS/FI/CO modules) and Analysis Office

  • Resourceful with strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management

  • Ability to be granted DoD Secret clearance in future

Salary Range: $109,900 - $164,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
