The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E), Air Crew Operations, group is looking for a Senior Customer Training Specialist to join our Cabin Safety Training team in Shanghai.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop cabin crew training courses using advanced presentation and instructional methods and equipment such as cabin/door trainers and CBT

  • Review engineering documents, specifications, drawings, and changes to prepare courseware that reflects customer configurations

  • Develop, maintain and revise computer-based training courseware using state-of-the-art desktop authoring systems

  • Deliver curriculum to airline customers’ crew in a classroom setting and one-on-one

  • Travel required to customer locations in support of the Cabin Safety Support Program (CSSP)

  • Other duties as assigned

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in 14 CFR 121 (or equivalent) aviation training and/or training design, distribution and compliance

  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently

  • Experience working with Instructional systems designers to develop flight attendant training material

  • Experience in training systems as an instructor

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher

  • Safety Management System background

  • Experience with competency based or advanced qualification training/programs

  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and Smart Notebook. 

  • Development experience using Articulate and Flash applications with understanding of LMS based CBT delivery.

  • Fluency in a second or third language

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD&43;4 years related work experience, Master&43;7 years related work experience, 13 years related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
