  • This job is a member of the Workbrain Leaves team within the Technical Operations Division
  • Responsible for completing the daily operations of Workbrain Leaves, who is responsible for managing all Tech Ops TWU/IAM union members Leave of Absences, in accordance with contractual agreements and state laws and acting as a liaison with Absence and Return Center (ARC), Workmans Compensations, and Lost Time Administrators
  • Collaborating with a cohesive group in a busy office setting, ensuring the success of the Workbrain Leaves team
What you'll do

Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

  • Process FMLA case files received from ARC and LTAs
  • Complete internal and state leave audits
  • Load various Leave of Absence balances
  • Create, track, and maintain records of team member on Leave of Absence
  • Process prior pay period adjustments
  • Correspond with LTAs, ARC and Labor Relations on a daily basis to ensure we are adhering with state law and contractual agreements
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Works shifts primarily Monday through Friday, and weekends and holidays as required.
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an office setting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with represented team member contractual agreements
  • Familiarity with the State and Local Leave of Absence Laws
  • Experience handling personnel and administrative functions
  • Perform in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, be detail oriented and meet deadlines

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with team members at all levels within the company.
  • Ability to function well in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with team member files and personal information.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work functions effectively.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and work under time constraints with professionalism, efficiency, patience, and tact
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
