Description:This position will be integral for managing the daily Quick-Turn Fabrication, Fabrication Special Processes, Surveillances, Surveys for AMMM Marietta Quality Shared Services Quality Operations. Direct, plan, coach, mentor and manage all aspects, work scope and job operations in fabrication, surveys, and surveillances for Quality. Assist with hourly manning, technical needs, and ETG as required.
• The candidate will manage all aspects of the Quality Fabrication, Surveys, Surveillance processes, including daily operations, planning, customer presentations, audit preparation, optimization, metrics, SRR, and OTD performance.
• Monitor SFM, Call Board, SAP, QSS, Surveys, FAIs, planning, tooling, and workflow to ensure inspection requirements are met, and a conforming product is delivery on schedule.
• Successful candidate must possess the ability, skills, and foresight to direct, correct, and coordinate contractual data requirements within the Fabrication process. Represents organization on specific projects, teams.
• Provide knowledge of Marietta’s Shop Floor Management [SFM] system, QADS, Survey System, Material Survey System to hourly workforce.
• Review databases and inspection summary inputs for accuracy and content.
• Coordinate with deployed personnel at a local satellite Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider location for spares and kits issues.
• Initiate actions when additional attention is required to resolve adverse delivery trends or training problems.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5-10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working as a self-starter and team lead with gathering and analyzing data, solve technical/process problems and to affect process flow and obtain desired goal.
• Limited knowledge/understanding of a basic logistic flow.
• Experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly the use of Excel and PowerPoint in the preparation of graphs, charts and presentations.
• Aeronautics or Fabrication experience in a production or operational environment.
Desired Skills:
• Candidate must possess excellent communication skills with excellent writing and computer skills. Must have the ability to lead, multitask and adapt easily in a rapidly changing environment.
• Will learn Quality requirements, inventory management, financial, and product support activities.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
