Project Planner
Greenville, SC
Contract Position
$40.00-$42.00/Hour
Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircrafts operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop clear and detailed aircraft work instructions to support maintenance, modifications, and repairs, ensuring optimal operational performance and alignment with technical requirements.
- Interpret and translate structural and mechanical engineering blueprints and technical documents into concise work instructions for maintenance teams, covering structural, electrical, avionics, and general maintenance tasks.
- Draft detailed instructions that may include parts fabrication requirements, equipment, tooling, materials, and labor estimates.
- Lead collaborative review sessions with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
- Incorporate approved changes from stakeholders and update referenced technical data accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree with 6+ years of relevant work experience, or Masters Degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience:
- Background in process planning, including 2-4 years of structures experience.
- 2-4 years of computer operations experience.
- Skills: Proven experience interpreting and writing technical documentation related to aircraft maintenance and repair.
