What you need to do the role
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll operations, with the ability to manage payroll cycles accurately and in line with regulatory and compliance requirements. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, always conscious of accuracy and control processes, and able to support audit preparation and maintain reliable reporting. Building trust and credibility with stakeholders like HR, Finance, vendors, and local authorities is key, as is being confident using payroll systems such as Workday, Excel, SharePoint, and others. You’ll take ownership of your work, manage your time effectively, and consistently deliver high-quality results. This is a collaborative role, so being a strong communicator and a supportive team player will be essential. You’ll be operating in a fast-paced, complex European business, and professionalism, resilience, and a solution-focused approach will serve you well. For the Netherlands specifically, you’ll need to bring a solid understanding of Dutch tax and social security systems, be familiar with CAOs and their practical application, and have confidence in navigating local reporting, pension schemes, and regulatory submissions. Fluency in both English and Dutch is essential, as you’ll be regularly communicating with local employees, authorities, and internal teams. Experience in airline or retail, international payroll, or having a relevant certification in Dutch payroll would be a bonus, but ultimately, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and committed to delivering a smooth and compliant payroll experience.

Location & Hours of Works
This full-time role will be based in Amsterdam and will be 40 hours per week. Hybrid working with 3-5 days in the office per week.
