Role Summary
The Partnership Loyalty Analyst is a subject matter expert in loyalty program partnership initiatives at Alaska Airlines. As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgment in leading analytical activities that enable the Loyalty team to optimize and grow Air Group’s partnership portfolio. The Partnership Loyalty Analyst manages analytics projects that support Alaska’s multi-billion dollar cobrand credit card business and quickly growing stable of air and non-air partnerships.
Key Duties
Leads analysis of loyalty program partnership initiatives, including new partner, product or feature launches, and product, offer or spanet tests.
Performs complex analysis to inform optimal cobrand program design and structure decisions.
Develops and present recommendations for program, partner and promotion changes based on analysis.
Leads the analysis and preparation of business reporting in conjunction with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and Loyalty Accounting on the monthly loyalty Profit and Loss (P&L) (e.g., forecasting, identifying resulting variances, conducting analyses, and formulating recommendations).
With minimal direction from leadership, mine for customer insights and recommend optimizations across partnership programs, offers and channels to grow guest loyalty.
Models and forecasts costs of complex loyalty partnership offers and incentives in collaboration with loyalty principals and develop reporting to track performance vs. forecast.
Develops and implements forecasting tools, commercial and operational dashboards leveraged by Loyalty team, channel/product owners and vendor partners to manage the business.
Develops reports, PowerPoints, and dashboards on an ad-hoc basis to support the business as assigned.
Proactively drives analysis to inform annual budgeting and planning around partnership KPIs.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Partnerships Loyalty Analyst (Professional 2) *Required *
2 years of experience in data analysis or financial analytics roles within aviation, e-commerce, technology, hospitality, spaneting, or a loyalty-related area.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, or Technical Degree (Engineering), or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Proficient in Excel and able to work with data analysis tools, statistical/reference formulas, and pivot tables.
Detail oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 18.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
*Sr Partnerships Loyalty Analyst (Professional 3) *

4 years of experience in data analysis or financial analytics roles within aviation, e-commerce, technology, hospitality, spaneting, or a loyalty-related area.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, or Technical Degree (Engineering), or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Advanced in Excel and able to work with data analysis tools, statistical/reference formulas, and pivot tables.
Detail oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently.

Preferred
Knowledge of loyalty programs and co-brand credit card mechanics.
Demonstrated ability to have significant impact on products, services, or financial performance with data-driven recommendations.
Proficiency in database querying or business intelligence tools such as Structured Query language (SQL), Alteryx, Tableau.
Detail oriented in the delivery of work product and identifying idiosyncrasies in guest-facing experiences or inconsistencies in data sources.
Experience tracking and reporting on financial and operational performance of consumer-facing products or services.
Proven ability to gather, prep and blend data, then present complex data sets in a compelling and concise format.

Salary Range
$78,300-$149,800 / year
Pay Details
Intermediate Level (Professional II):$78,300-$117,450
Senior Level (Professional III): $99,850-$149,800
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon employees. Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
