Job Requirements: 

Crew Scheduling 

  • Continual audit and verify coverage of all scheduled flights; 
  • Monitor VMO software to ensure positioning/training and live flights are booked appropriately and crew assignments meet or exceed the requirements for time free from duty and duty day limitations; 
  • Assign reserve crew members within prescribed guidelines; 
  • Schedule crews in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Company Operations Manual (COM), policies and procedures; 
  • Audit daily crew assignments and reschedule crews as required; 
  • Ensure all communications to crew members are clear, concise and completed in a professional and timely manner; 
  • Coordinate with flight operations management, and crew members in times of Irregular Operations (IROPS) to resolve scheduling issues and conflicts;  
  • Ensure flight crew duty hours and days worked are maintained within legal limits as determined by the CARs regulations; 
  • Audit crew credit hours/days for payroll purposes
  • Produce and audit monthly reports on crew regulatory items 
  • Request and confirm crew travel and accommodation requirements, focusing on efficiency of schedule and cost; 
  • Negotiate and establish corporate rates with hotels

Flight Operations Software

  • Management and building of all operational flights in the system
  • Coordination with Fleet planning on aircraft assignments 
  • Trouble shooting and resolve of aircraft and crew related issues in conjunction with Flight Operations Manager

 

Passenger Operation 

  • Various operational control functions
  • Customer/Dispatch liaison 
  • Operational point of contact during operations
  • Operational requirements/confirmations

Daily assistance to Flight Operations Manager in regards to operational and regulatory requirements
