The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Quality Engineer in assessing measures of performance through data collection, reporting and analysis
- Support projects and processes that ensure continuously improving value to our customers and business units
- Assist Quality Engineers with data mining, reporting and analysis
- Observe and identify process improvement opportunities to Quality Engineering
- Verify process control activities and report deficiencies as appropriate
- Initiate quality alerts for potential process and product discrepancies that may affect performance
- Prepare audit plans and checklists for all product lifecycle quality-related activities
- Assist Quality Engineers with root cause analysis investigations and corrective action development
- Investigate internal audit-related findings and help coordinate activities to resolve issues
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in 4-year STEM degree (science, technology, engineering or mathematics), as a junior or senior with at least a 3.0 GPA
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week on-site
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to apply basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and team members
