None/Not RequiredThis position oversees the life cycle of a repair order from purchase order placement to order closure in the applicable systems. This position creates quotes and sales orders, accurately reflecting customer purchase order requirements, in the SAP Sales & Distribution module. Managing ongoing changes to SAP sales orders, monitoring inventory, and billing reports and taking appropriate action is also performed. Regular communication with external and internal customers is necessary. Actions directly impact sales, profit, and on-time delivery performance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Demonstrates proficiency with tools, systems, procedures, and processes required to create complex orders and quotes. Identifies trends, analyzes problems, and suggests alternatives for assigned tasks.
Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with.
Provides oversight and monitors inventory to maximize sales and ensures customer order requirements are met, manually creating delivery documents as appropriate.
Supervises and monitors order execution by providing guidance to team members to ensure sales goals are achieved.
Identifies SAP Sales Order Set up processes and constraints to implementing and performing on customer contracts. Makes recommendations to finding necessary alternative sales order set up methods.
Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of materials/processes.
Creates, submits and monitors US Government receiving reports and invoices. With assistance, addresses U.S. Government portal issues.
Performs and assists with special projects as required.
Demonstrates proficiency with government contracts and contract reviews. Provides recommendations or alternatives when it comes to negotiating acceptable terms and conditions.
Develops and tests new or moderately difficult order administration processes.
Creates, updates, archives order and customer files, as required.
Utilizes SAP reporting tools to create reports to meet customer expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
Experience providing service to external customers on a business-to-business level.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
Experience working in the aerospace industry.
Experience reading and interpreting contracts/warranty documents.
Experience reviewing and approving customer purchase orders.

The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
