Job Description:

Qatar Executive (QE) is the corporate jet subsidiary of Qatar Airways and is our leading worldwide charter business.

Due to expansion QE are now recruiting for the role of Business Development Specialist.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for client business growth in UK and European region. You will be fully accountable for the delivery of strategic account objectives, focusing on Block Hour Agreements and direct charter sales and building QE’s global sales revenue, profitability and market share.

Based in Central London, there will be regular travel as part of this role.

Specific responsibilities include

·         Steer, coordinate and manage business development and customer accounts in UK and Europe with full responsibility for business retention, new customer acquisition and business development.

·         Support development and maintenance of an effective CRM data base for the region ensuring regional compliance with data, new customer set up processes and compliance with operational practices.

·         Develop and coordinate projects/sales campaigns in collaboration with QE Marketing department to develop QE presence in the designated sales territories.

·         Prepare and deliver customer presentations as required either individually or together with line manager.

·         Create proposals, contracts and other documents to negotiate and close them for regional charter and Block Hours Agreements.

·         Conduct face-to-face customer meetings as part of the sales process to qualify leads as required and maintain customer relationships.

·         Maintain a controlled customer account plan for each assigned customer, defining customer/sales strategy to be applied. This includes managing corresponding sales activities, resource allocation, accountable personnel, timelines and progress records.

·         Drive loyalty and business retention for customer accounts through the application of an extensive sales toolkit, aligned with the QE’s growth strategy for charter and Block Hour sales.

·         Actively participate in forums such and events to promote and maintain business relationships.

·         Perform quarterly business reviews and other relevant review meetings to support QE Commercial Leadership on business updates.

·         Provide competitive intelligence on pricing and competitor activities in the defined sales territory to the line manager in order to assist QE in staying relevant within the competitive landscape.

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·         We are seeking talented individuals who are commercially astute and market savvy and with a strong international sales back ground to help drive its business growth for charter and block hour agreements in its international markets for its fleet of Gulfstream G650ER aircraft and newly introduced Gulfstream G700 aircraft.

·         Commercial sales experience in the business jet charter, sales and aircraft sales industry.

·         Understanding of business aviation charter sales, block hour sales/ fractional sales.

·         Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven influencing and negotiating skills at all levels.

·         Proven experience in negotiating within a multi-cultural, multi-national environment and all levels from Ultra High Net worth individuals, Private & Public Corporates, Governments.

·         In depth relevant market knowledge within the European region.
