Position SummaryReporting to the SOCC Manager, the SOCC Administrator and Auditor is responsible for ensuring that all aviation data is recorded and maintained in compliance with Canadian Aircraft regulations and company policies and procedures. This includes daily collection and audit of aircraft logs and flight ops documents.Personal CharacteristicsHighly flexible, with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environmentProfessional and respectful, with a positive work attitudeTimely with a high level of commitment to on-time performance is essentialMotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamEffective verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentAble to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective mannerStrong planning skills and detail-orientedProven time management skills with strong attention to detailHigh level of respect, understanding and regard for First Nations communitiesKey Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesAudit all aircraft log sheet data in the airline management softwareAudit all flight crew duty information on to the Flight Crew Duty spreadsheetMonitor and audit all flight and duty entries to ensure that the planned schedule is still within limitations and regulations on a daily basisUpdate and reflect any reassignment necessary on the Operations board to ensure that all CARs are satisfiedProduce daily, weekly and monthly flight and duty limitation reportsAssist Crew Schedulers in crew call outs for overtimeAssist Crew Schedulers in reassigning crew members in the event that a crew member can’t complete his/her assigned dutiesAudit all flight and duty entries in the airline management softwareCoordinate the retrieval, retention and disposal process of flight operations flight plans and manifestsEnsure that the applicable OFPs receive auditing within the 90-day retention periodPossess the ability to make informed decisions without compromising internal policies/proceduresIdentify and recommend efficiency opportunities to management, which would improve upon daily processes to capture operational efficiencies, i.e. improve reporting accuracy, completeness, timelinessPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum Education, Experience and CertificationsHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalentMust be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizationsPrior experience in operations and/or flight coordination preferredSuccessful completion of Transport Canada Exams (FD Ops and FD Met) considered an assetWorking knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations would be considered an assetStrong customer service experience considered an assetKnowledge of AvAIO and Microsoft Office software is considered a strong assetIndigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an assetWorking ConditionsPhysically able to perform all listed job dutiesTravel by aircraft and other means as required by roleWork performed primarily in an office environmentManual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephoneAbility to attend and conduct presentationsMay be required to lift or move up to 30lbsPhysical location of position is only accessible via flight of stairs
