Job overview and responsibilities
The Analyst - Catering Policy & Procedures, Investigations & Auditing supports the Catering SMS program and related safety and security systems. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct a quota of audits and station visits to measure and report out on compliance to policies, procedures, and standard work, while recommending process changes to reduce risk. This role also conducts investigations into Catering safety and security related incidents and reports out to department management. This role needs to be familiar with the Catering Operations Business Manual (COBM) and policies and procedures related to safety and security. Also, this role provides information to stakeholders on safety and security policy and procedures as directed by the department manager.
- Partners with senior analyst by consistently and efficiently completing a quota of safety and security audits (CCTV, in-person planeside, kitchen) to identify compliance to policies, procedures, and standard work
- Identify existing and potential hazards and conduct formal analysis of risk levels; recommend risk management processes to control risk of acceptable levels
- Collect, analyze, and communicate on a continual basis audit and control results to leadership, while recommending appropriate policy and procedure review process as necessary to ensure compliance and mitigate future risk
- Assists with safety and security investigations to determine to determine root cause of defects and report out to departmental management
- Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of Catering Operations Business Manual (COBM) while also being well versed on other corporate safety (CSMSM) and security (AOSSP) manuals
- Provides materials/communications on safety and security polices as directed by departmental management
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years operational experience in catering operations, or inflight/airport operations
- Must possess strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and decision-making capability
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven track record to work independently and in a team environment

- Must be willing to travel 25
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Bachelors degree
- GSE Training/Certification
- Airline Operations experience
- Operational safety training & SMS training
- Catering Security Agent & Truck Seal Verification training
- Knowledge of safety (FAA) and security (TSA) programs and external/internal government and regulatory requirements
- Security Audit experience
The base pay range for this role is $64,885.00 to $88,440.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
