Our team

As a member of the Global Compensation team, you will play a key role in managing, planning and executing all tasks relating to the annual compensation processes such as salary reviews, short- and long-term incentives and promotions as well as associated policies. You will participate in the search for best practices in compensation and executive compensation in all of our countries where Bombardier is present, and you will collaborate with a wide range of experts from various fields.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Recommend compensation strategies to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across the organization to establish trust and credibility.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and governance of compensation and policies and programs for executives’ compensation.
  • Participate in Bombardiers salary structure recommendations and job evaluations.
  • Participate in salary surveys including executive compensation to obtain and analyze market data in order to verify the companys positioning compared to our competitors.
  • Participate in activities related to the LTI (long-term incentive) plans: grant and vesting, communication to participants, vendor management, coordination with payroll and finance departments, prepare statements for members of senior management in connection with the shareholder guidelines.
  • Provide analysis on market data for executive compensation through research of public disclosures.
  • Prepare Stock Ownership Guidelines statements for senior executives.
  • Support the preparation of the compensation section of the Management Proxy Circular.
  • Contribute to the preparation of documents for the HR Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have 2 (two) to 10 (ten) years of relevant experience in compensation within a consultancy, a corporate office, or a multinational company
  • You hold a bachelors degree in business administration (HR management, finance), industrial relations, actuarial science or any other related discipline.
  • You have experience in compensation in Canada, the United States and internationally.
  • You have created sales plan designs and LTI plans.
  • You have the ability to manage projects and improve processes.
  • You have a high-level attention to detail.
  • You have excellent analytical skills, to synthesize ideas and present them clearly.
  • You are able to perform high quality work within tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
  • You demonstrate initiative and good judgment.
  • You have an excellent mastery of French and English, both spoken and written, and you are a strong communicator.
  • You have excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) .
