What are your responsibilities?
- Performing critical collection activities on overdue invoices, such as phone calls, emails, dunning letters, and regularly contacting customers to determine reasons for payment delays.
- Analyzing and investigating root causes of outstanding balances by liaising with internal and external customers.
- Proactively communicating with management about significant overdue receivables and potential risks.
- Managing credit risk by handling order blocks/unblocks and assessing customers’ payment histories.
- Collaborating with internal departments to resolve claims and customer issues and respond to inquiries.
- Providing day‑to‑day customer service in accordance with established standards and continuously improving service quality.
- Monitoring payment plans and ensuring adherence to agreed schedules.
- Leading escalation meetings and communications.
- Supporting month‑end close and AR accounting tasks.
- Preparing data and reports and continuously seeking process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date customer data in the accounting system to ensure data integrity.
- Providing required documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Supporting the deployment of new tools, systems, and processes within the receivables function.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Acting as a deputy for other team members during their absence to ensure continuity of AR operations.
What makes you a good fit for this role?
- Secondary vocational or higher education in a relevant field (accounting, finance, economics) or related.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B1).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for employees.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic business conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel).
