For our Engineering Material Group, specifically our Pradifa Technology Division – we are looking for a Location Controller for our Plant in Adro, focused on o-rings production.
Position Summary
The job holder manages the controlling function of the Adro location within the Pradifa Technology Division, supported by a centralised accounting organisation of a shared service center.
His/Her key tasks will be:
- Accurate and timely reporting of the monthly financial results (Month-End-Closing);
- Prepare monthly forecasts and yearly plans together with accurately defined standard costs;
- Financial planning and reporting, Performance measurement;
- Compliance Administrator for the location;
- General ledger and P&L reconciliation;
- Supporting the submission of accurate and valuable capital investment requests (AFE);
- Coordinating with the ESSC on A/P, A/R, FA;
- Organise and lead Yearly Stock Takes.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of the monthly financial results (Month End Closing). Analyzing results and deviations to the forecast;
- Reporting financial results and beeing responsible for reconciled Balance Sheets & P&L;
- Yearly preparation and definition of standard costs according to policy;
- Managing the relationship to centralized Accounting Functions (FSM Corsico / ESSC Poland);
- Responsible for the yearly inventory stock count;
- Prepare Capital Investments and support plant manager on project analysis;
- Ensure compliance with Parker policies and define Internal controls (Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance);
- Coordinate data analysis to highlight costs trends and improvement areas for the location;
- Collaborate with management team to prepare for short and long-term trends in the business environment;
Decision Making Authority
- Approves location economic and financial reports;
- Check trends with reference to the budget;
- Takes on actions for continuous improvement;
- Approves the editing of budget, forecast and reporting.
Planning and organisation
- Ability to plan activities and potential specific projects;
- Implementetion of corporate standards and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics / Accounting or equivalent experience
- 3-5 year of previous experience in similar role
- Advanced MS-Excel and PC skills
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Innovative and results driven – drive change
- JD-Edwards knowledge is a plus
- Analytical, organizational, management and problem solving skills
